Of course, we can't guarantee the quality of these websites, but we're sure that they will help you to find out more about the area and its activities. The Oughterard tourism Association have developed their own site, providing loads of information and pictures based on the Oughterard area. It even has samples of the local music, from bands like 'Ardvarna', a well-known traditional Irish music group. Here you can find detailed information about the village, from the restaurants to the golf club.
If you want to know more about Connemara, this is probably the best place to start. With plenty of history, photographs, local information, and maps, it has lots of resouces for getting to know the area.
